It’s an obvious fact that cheese is one of the symbols of French gastronomy par excellence, but as history would have it, in a not-so-distant past… in exactly 2009, in a small part of the lands of Ponent, the dairy Cal Quitèria was born, a small family business located in Almacelles, Lleida and dedicated to the production and sale of goat cheeses.

The goal of our origins is to promote and sustain cattle farming, the sector we grew up in. And the thing is, we are and want to be herders!    At Cal Quitèria, we believe that more than a name, we are a reason for being.
